Frequently Asked Questions:
What areas do you cover?
Dickinson’s Lawn and Plant Services is based in Heswall and works across Wirral, Liverpool, Chester and the North Wales corridor. Services are focused on smaller commercial sites within this local operating area.
What type of sites do you work with?
We work with hospitality venues, cafés, offices, nurseries, surgeries, churches, managed properties and other smaller commercial sites that need reliable external maintenance.
Do you offer regular maintenance programmes?
Yes. The core service is scheduled commercial planter and grounds maintenance, with visit frequency agreed around the needs of your site and the season. This provides a consistent standard without your team needing to manage the work day to day.
Do you offer one-off or seasonal work?
Yes, where it suits the site. Seasonal planter refreshes, hedge work, jet-washing, professional weed control, exterior tidy-ups and green-waste clearance can be quoted separately. Regular maintenance remains the priority.
What does commercial planter maintenance include?
Services are tailored to the display but can include watering, feeding, pruning, deadheading, tidying, plant-health checks and seasonal refresh recommendations. Replacement planting and new planter installations can also be arranged where required.
How do you price the work?
Pricing is based on the site, the scope of work, visit frequency, access and materials required. Following an initial discussion and, where appropriate, a site visit, you will receive a clear written quote for the agreed maintenance programme or project.
Are you qualified for professional weed control?
Yes. Craig holds PA1 and PA6 pesticide-application qualifications. Any treatment is considered on a site-specific basis, with appropriate assessment, product selection and records.
Are you insured and compliant for commercial work?
Yes. A current compliance and credentials pack can be provided for genuine commercial enquiries, including relevant insurance, accreditation, training, and health and safety documentation.
How do I request a site visit?
Use the Contact page, call, message or email with your business name, site postcode, the service you require and a short outline of the work. Craig will respond directly to discuss the site and, where appropriate, arrange a visit before providing a straightforward quote. Or, alternatively, use the Site Ready Check app linked to the header section on this website and Craig will get back to you with some ideas.
